Me? I'm a post-goth 30-something *cough* grown up living in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I'm originally from the suburbs of Washington DC. I'm happily married to 
jgcr.
Beyond my husband, my children, family and friends, I care about British and American social history, cats, books, archives and libraries, cities, (some) music, (some) politics, and a very limited number of tv shows (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, the new Doctor Who and oh, okay, Torchwood and Sherlock, because I can be pandered to) and fanfiction attached to them.
Professionally speaking, I acquired a second masters degree in archives and records management (the first was in art history) in 2005. I'm taking a hiatus from archives to take care of the under 5 set, but I hope to return to the field eventually.
